Variegated memories —

Mostly pastels with flecks

Of darker shades.

That I wove

Those skeins into

Happy memories

 

A blanket made of

Kind words and wise

Observations and

Creative, witty tales

 

Let it be said

My blanket

Was a good one

For rainy days

 

The kind you spend

Sitting by the window —

A cup of cheer in one hand

And a book in the other.
